The project will allow the beneficiary to equip 17 locomotives for international freight transport with ETCS Level 2, version 2.3.0.d. These Traxx F140 MS locomotives will run on part of the TEN-T Priority Projects 1, 5, 17 and 22.
Following the completion of the Action, the locomotives will obtain the relevant authorisation for entry into into service in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy from the respective National Safety Authorities.
