This road project is part of a global project to enlarge the German A3 federal highway from four to six lanes. It concerns the replacement of the bridge crossing the Hasloch river valley.
The works include the demolishment of the erstwhile bridge, and replacing it with a new 6-lane, 678 m-long bridge that spans over the valley at a height of 70 m.
It will bring improved travel benefits to the A3 highway, an important northwest-southeast thoroughfare crossing Germany through Frankfurt-Würzburg-Nuremberg, and connecting other key sections of the German road network.
This project has been completed.
