A feasibility study for establishing regular public transport inter-city links and city links with airports, ports and major tourist destinations that will use the Cyprus Motorway Network

The project forms part of the overall "Strategy for the Improvement of Public Transport in Cyprus" which aims at increasing the public transport usage from 2% in 2006 to 10% in 2015.

The project will study the feasibility of establishing a regular interurban public transport service that connects the cities to the airports, ports and major tourist destinations using the existing motorway network. In addition, it will try to identify opportunities for encouraging inter-modal shifts along the route - such as the creation of park-and-ride areas.
