Regional and Cohesion Funds

The European Commission's Regional Policy supports programmes which may offer funding opportunities for Motorways of the Sea initiatives. To find out more:

Go to the Regional Policy website, and click on the tab "In your country". Choose in the box "Select a country" your  country of interest and click "OK". Select "all regions" and click "OK".

Then go through the following steps:

1. Choose from the list of available programmes the ones which may be relevant to Motorways of the Sea. These could include: national operational programmes for transport, strictly regional programmes, or programmes for cross-border, interregional or transnational cooperation.

2. Find out from the programme description whether the activities/investments of your interest are covered by the priorities described in the programme and verify the budget allocated to these priorities.

3. In case there is a match between your interests and the programme priorities and budget, contact the managing authority indicated in the programme to find out about funding opportunities.
