Publicity guidelines & logos
As a beneficiary of TEN-T funding, one of your legal obligationsą is to provide the proper publicity to inform the public of the European Union's financial support.
Any report, brochure or other documentation connected with your TEN-T co-funded project must mention European Union co-financing.
This mention is important as it:
- shows your commitment and participation in the TEN-T programme
- helps to give the important message to the European public that the European Union is doing its part is supporting sustainable transport
What information must be included
The following information must be included in your publicity, as relevant to the specific type of dissemination carried out:
- A funding statement stating that your project/initiative is the recipient of European Union TEN-T funding:
"Project X/Infrastructure X is co-financed by the European Union's TEN-T programme"
- (For printed materials) A disclaimer releasing the European Union from any liability in terms of the content of the dissemination materials:
"The sole responsibility of this publication lies with the author. The European Union is not responsible for any use that may be made of the information contained therein." (See this disclaimer in all EU official languages).
- The EU flag
Publications & dissemination materials
Unless the TEN-T Executive Agency requests otherwise, all communication or publication about the project – including at a conference or seminar – must indicate that the project has received funding from the EU.

Funding logos
To make this task easier, the Agency has created the following logo which can be used to fulfil points 1 and 3 of the above-mentioned publicity requirements.

If you choose to use the Agency-supplied logo, please ensure:
- elements of the logo should not be separated, i.e. please use the logo as one whole unit
- enough free space around the logo, for clarity purposes
