Recruitment privacy policy


Your personal data given during the selection and recruitment procedure via the completion of the Europass CV and submission of related documents are processed in accordance with Regulation (EC) N° 45/2001 on the "protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions" of the European Parliament and the Council of 18 December 2000.

 

In this respect the Agency's Data Protection Officer ensures that the provisions of the Regulation are applied and advises controllers on fulfilling their obligations (see art. 24 of the Regulation). For all of the Institutions, the European Data Protection Supervisor will act as an independent supervisory authority (see art. 41 to 45 of the Regulation).

 

All replies to the questions in the Europass CV are obligatory, except for the personal photo and the replies to skills and competences not related to work (example social, artistic). Applicants not answering these questions will not be put to any disadvantaged position due to the failure to give an answer.

 

The controller of the present processing operation is the Head of the Resources Unit in the Agency, being Head of the Sector Human Resources.

 

The purpose of this processing operation is to select and recruit candidates suitable to cover the vacancies of TEN-T EA and to establish the rights of the Agency's future employees.

 

The recipients of your data will be the agents of the human resources sector, the members of the selection panel as well as the Head of the Resources Unit and the Director of the Agency. PMO (Office for Administration and Payment of Individual Entitlements) will receive some of the submitted information in order to establish the rights of the future employee.

 

Should you be recruited, then your data will be retained for a maximum period of 10 years after you leave the institution or after the payment of your last pension slip.

 

Data pertaining to applicants who were invited for an interview during the course of a given selection and recruitment procedure will be kept at least until the first HR audit and not less than two years following the conclusion of the recruitment procedure.

 

Data related to applicants not invited for an interview will remain in the Agency's common drive for a period of 12 months. Data will be automatically removed at the end of this period.

 

You have the right to access your personal data at any time and the right to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data (limited to admissibility criteria after closing date stated in the vacancy notice).
